The opportunity

Twenty-three regents. Five hundred years. Yours, one day at a time.

Sweden's monarchy stretches across five centuries and several royal houses. With a minute a day, you can hold all of it in clear memory, in order, on demand.

01

A fresh date, every day.

Each day brings a new date, drawn from somewhere across the last five centuries. You name the regent in power on that day. One question, one answer, twenty seconds of your time.

02

Knowledge compounds.

Each correct answer locks in a little more. Reign dates, royal houses, and the order of succession become familiar. Pattern becomes recall.

03

Built for this exact job.

Every feature exists for one goal. Holding twenty-three regents and their dates in bright, daily memory. Nothing else is in the way.

The product

One notification. One question. One answer. Every day.

Designed around a single primitive: the daily question. Everything else (rating, difficulty, streaks, leaderboard) exists to make that one question matter slightly more than it did yesterday.

Daily question

A single knuffnotis lands once a day. Who reigned on a specific date? Twenty seconds on the bus. No more, no less.

ELO rating

Every answer shifts your rating. Your rating shifts your difficulty. The system grows with you, at exactly your pace.

K-factor scaled · Tabular

Adaptive difficulty

Safe years first. As your ELO rises, the date windows narrow. Gustav III on a random Tuesday in 1789 is a late-game question.

Distractor curves · Year precision

Global leaderboard

Compete with other people who also felt a quiet obligation to know this. Form a group. Be outranked by your cousin.

Friends · Groups · Global

Streak tracking

Answer every day. The streak grows. Miss one morning. The streak does not. Your best streak is stored separately, as is decent.

Daily · Best-ever retained

Svenska eller engelska

Play in Swedish or English. Regents are the same in both. The flag toggles at the tap of a finger. Regentligan, on your terms.

Bilingual · Instant switch
Getting started

Stay accountable, each day, every day.

ELO + streak updated
From the leadership cohort

Adopted quietly by people who have things to prove.

Early users include founders, operators, academics, plumbers, and carpenters. Their reasons vary. Their streaks do not.

Since we rolled this out across the leadership team, our Q2 offsite trivia round has become considerably more competitive. Reynier is no longer permitted to play.

AL
CMO, Stockholm consultancy

I now recall Karl XI with roughly the same confidence I recall our burn rate. The productivity implications have been difficult to quantify.

JN
CFO, European SaaS scale-up

The daily cadence fits neatly between my cold plunge and my first standup. I have not missed a question since the winter solstice.

MR
Founder & CEO, wellness category

My current streak has outlasted two product-market fits. I have made peace with what this implies.

EB
COO, fintech

It started with Gustav Vasa.
Now it is on you to carry it.

Five centuries of continuous succession. Twenty-three names, one at a time, in order.

Frequently asked

Common questions, answered plainly.

Is this a serious product?
We take the Swedish monarchy exactly as seriously as any quiz format allows. The app works. The ELO works. The knuffnotiser arrive on time.
Is it free?
Yes. There is no paid tier. Play, compete.
Do I need to be Swedish?
No. The app helps with that. Play in English until the names start to feel familiar, then switch to Swedish whenever you are ready. The regents are identical in both languages.
What about other countries' monarchies?
There are none. This is a Swedish product, about Swedish regents, for people who want to remember them. Denmark will have to wait.
What happens when a new regent is crowned?
We will add them. The quiz will continue.
Why start with Gustav Vasa and not earlier?
1523 is where modern Swedish succession begins. We preferred a clean starting line.

Every Swede knows this by heart.
Now you will too.

One date. One monarch. Twenty seconds. A new question every day, drawn from five centuries of Swedish regents.
